Ferrite chip beads (multilayer) have different sizes from 0603(0201) to 8530(3312), As known by the name multilayer “ferrite” chip beads, the raw material for the core body is the ferrite. Because the magnetic permeability on ferrite material is high, always will be used on a high frequency. On the other hand, the inductance value is small and low loss at low frequency. Usually, the Z (impedance value) will test at 100 MHz to get the highest impedance value. The ferrite chip beads are also called the ferrite block. This SMD EMI filter covers a wide impedance characteristic. Their impedance mainly comprises the resistive part. Therefore, when this component is inserted in series with a noise conduction path, the noise content can be attenuated.

Compact size for 4 ferrite beads in one package. The whole series of the ferrite chip beads have excellent solderability with the plating electrode.
