Magnetically Shielded Inductor with High Saturate Current And Inductance
Surface Mount Shielded Inductors are specifically designed to mitigate electromagnetic interference (EMI) by encasing the coil in a shielded housing. Typically constructed from a ring core, this housing forms a closed magnetic circuit, effectively reducing both external and internal magnetic fields that may affect inductor performance. By isolating the inductor from interference, these components deliver enhanced reliability and accuracy in EMI-sensitive applications. Furthermore, the shielded housing protects against external noise sources such as other electronic devices or electrical disturbances.

Inductance values span from 1.0 µH (1R0) to 1500 µH (152), and custom inductance values can be provided to meet specialized application needs. We offer various drum core materials such as Ni-Zn and Mn-Zn, both of which feature high relative permeability ideal for multiple applications. In particular, Mn-Zn cores exhibit high current-handling capacity and low resistance, making them optimal for high-power applications where stability and efficiency are paramount.
Additionally, we provide power inductors with plastic bases for enhanced mechanical stability and support of higher voltage requirements. SDS127 = the product has balance characteristic between current & DC resistance
SDS127“LD” = have lower dc resistance
SDS127 “HP” = same DCR with SDS127 but with better saturate current
SDS127“H” = the highest saturate \ rated current in the dimension
SDS127 “M” = utilize the Mn-Zn drum core to achieve better saturate current
