The SBS Series of wound ferrite SMD magnetically shielded power inductors is designed as a direct replacement for TDK’s SLF series, which has recently been placed on End-of-Life (EOL) notice. By incorporating a drum core and wound ring core, the SBS inductor ensures a closed magnetic circuit that effectively minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMI). The magnetic ring core encapsulates the coil, blocking both external and internal magnetic fields for stable, interference-free performance.
By offering form-fit-function equivalency to the TDK SLF series, the SBS inductors help customers maintain existing designs without extensive re-engineering. Advantage of ferrite magnetic shielded power inductor
Ferrite magnetic shielded inductor, compared to metal magnetic material, the ferrite has better resistance and small eddy current loss, it could provide the better self-resonant frequency (SRF) value. Coilmaster provides the wide range of industry-standard footprint of shielded power inductors, from the smallest 6.0mm to 12.0mm. The inductance ranges from 1.0uh(1R0) to 1000uH(102) and the customized inductance value (customized characteristic of SMD shielded power inductor) is available. Furthermore, for higher mechanical stability or voltage requirement applications, the plastic base on this series is an excellent choice.
