Magnetically Shielded Inductor with High Saturate Current And Inductance
Surface mount shielded inductors are designed to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) by enclosing the coil in a shielded housing. The housing is typically made from a ring core, which is used to cover the areas around the coil and create a closed magnetic circuit. This helps to block external and internal magnetism from affecting the performance of the inductor, which can improve its reliability and accuracy in applications where EMI is a concern. The use of a shielded housing can also help to protect the inductor from external sources of interference, such as other electronic devices or electrical noise. This SDS model possesses constant DC superimposition characteristics, cost-effective, low core loss, excellent efficiency, wide inductance range, and low DCR due to excellent structure / great winding space.
To fit the different applications, our SMD shielded power inductor SDS series has a wide range of industry-standard footprints, from the smallest 3.0mm to 12.0mm. The inductance ranges from 1.0uh(1R0) to 1500uH (152) and the customized inductance value (customized characteristic of SMD shielded power inductor) is available. Coilmaster offers a range of power inductors that are made with different drum cores, including Ni-Zn and Mn-Zn. These materials have high relative permeability and are suitable for use in a variety of applications.
