This compact power inductor have miniature size 5.2X5.2X2.2 (with low profile 2.2mm), 22uH, 0.9A of Isat and 1.2A of Irms. It is the magnetically shielded construction with lower magnetic flux leakage, avoid to affect the adjacent components and lower acoustic noise than other types such as semi-shielded or unshielded power inductor. This surface mount shielded inductor was used the Mn-Zn core with cooper wire wound around it. The advange of Mn-Zn core is to provides better current carry capacity, high magnetic flux and low losses. Operating temperature is up to 125°C.
