The SMD shielded power inductor with 3mm height. For 1.1uH, could carry 3.87Amps of saturate current and 3.46Amps of temperature rise current. The ferrite drum core and cooper wire (P180 grade) wound around it. Cover the winding area with a shield ring core as the closed magnetic circuit. Hence this surface mount inductor have relatively low emissions of magnetic radiation, also prevents magnetic coupling of the winding with adjacent components. The terminal is using the electroplating technology, this is more cost effective, better soldering efficiency and avoid the separation between base and product it selves. And the soldering used was matte tin, despite the soldering cost is higher, it could provide customer the better reliability and avoid tin whisker during their SMT production.
