SMD shielded wirewound inductor with low profile ( only 2mm height), small footprint and the magnetically shielded construction, hence provides the low loss, lower DC resistance and suitable for EMC critical applications compare to other unshielded / semi-shielded power inductor. For 1.5uH product, it could carry 2.94Amps current without saturation and 3.17Amps of temperature rise current. Thanks for electroplating technology, this series use the silver plating as the base and provide the economical solution. The tin we used was matte tin, despite the higher soldering cost, it could provide customer the better reliability and avoid tin whisker during their SMT production. In conclusion, this SMD shielded power inductors is suitable for space saving or profile limitation project. The drum core used on this series is the ferrite, working frequency could up to 1MHz.
