This compact power inductor have miniature size 6.3x6.2x3 (with low profile 3mm). It is the magnetically shielded construction with lower magnetic flux leakage, avoid to affect the adjacent components and lower acoustic noise than other types such as semi-shielded or unshielded power inductor. This surface mount shielded inductor have 4.7uH, 1.66A of Isat and 2.58A of Irms. This shielded inductor was used the ferrite core with cooper wire wound around it. The advantage of ferrite core is to provides better working frequency up to 1MHz. Operating temperature is from -40°C to 125°C (the cooper wire is P180 grade). The terminal on this tiny shielded inductor is utilized silver plating technology, provides cost effective solution, small footprint and suitable for space saving application / high density mounting.
